Adam @ 5 months

Weight : 8 kg, very thin because of high fever recently. Very talkative with so many different sounds nowadays, with the "papapapapapapapa" is his favourite. Sometimes we can still hear the "eko eko eko eko" sound.

I tried to teach him to say "mamamamamama", but he turn to be laugh out aloud whenever he hears the word. Hm... my little boy. 

Time To Call The Doctor

Is it normal if your baby is crying or behaving like unusual, having some sickness like mild fever, hard cough, siap berkahak for about 2 weeks to rely ONLY on the doc's medicine? We have brought Adam to see the doctor twice, but I can't really see any improvement. Rasa sedih pun ada, kesian pun ada. Mama and papa memang tidak tidur malam :( Terasa doc tu hampeh! Hampeh, because he said there is nothing to worry about but my son is suffering!

Tomorrow, we have to see the doctor again. I really hope that nothing serious is happening inside the baby, because the symptoms gradually worsen each day. After seeing the doctor tomorrow, maybe I'll wait for a couple of days before bringing him to the hospital. Huhuuhuh :(

Playtime baby

Adam really loves to play. Amazing, like he can play for ever! Kekadang tu, sampai penat sangat nak layan. He'll never stop, unless demam ke, sakit ke etc.

Not so much like a baby, dia memang kurang tidur. Well, malam dekat jam 1 pagi baru tidur ( baby ke tuuu ? ). So, dekat rumah, we did observe la kat Adam ni.... If he seem to be not so active, then jaga - jaga. Ada la something will happened, demam ke, kembung ke... huhuhu.

Sometimes, we don't really play with something. What we did is only talking, shouting ( he loves to shout as well ), and keep hugging each other. Kalau mama penat, then my baby will just gaze at me and wait until we make eye contact to each other. Lepas tu, with a huge sweet smiles, he can start our 'conversation' for hours ( again ). =)

Books

Last week we bring Adam to MPH, just to look around maybe there are some good books there for baby at his age. I found a few, and showed it to him.... and we turn out to buy two books, fully colour illustrated, full of pictures. His first books!

How we choose the book? We didn't! Actually Adam was the one who made the decision about the books. We just show him the book, and if he ends up to be like very excited, teruja, menggelepar and such, then we bought it. The same goes to his toys... If he doesn't like it, it would be a waste to buy. Hmmm... pandai anak mama...

His favorite toys now are 'keceng-keceng' ( bende berbunyi simply for baby ) - murah aje benda ni, but, we have to wait for about half an hour to bought it.... sebab tiada tag and tiada stock lain. And Adam tak mahu lepaskan....

Now Adam can really pusing.... almost 360 degree! Hehehe... and he knows where to look for if I'm not around ( besides him ). He'll just turn and turn and turn to look after mama. And if it fails, nangis la....

Although Adam giat berpusing at home, the baby sitter told me that he never did anything except terlentang! Huhuhu.... I just wonder, is it the hanging toys that keep him like that?? Pelik... kene check nih!

Tergolek - golek - 4 months

Adam turn 4 month today. Last week he is 7.2 kg, no wonder rasa macam I was carrying sepikul beras on my shoulder every day :)

Actually, quite sometime jugak I didn't update the blog ( as I wish to update it regularly ).

Adam can hold botol susu dia sendiri, although not very firm yet. Tapi ok la...

He can hold his toys.... and guess what, the favorite one is ..... handkerchief. Maybe because that is the easiest thing to hold. He can just play with the handkerchief before he started to cry... bored. At age of 4 months, we got to buy quite some toys as the baby can get bored easily.

But one thing for sure, pasang tv. He'll love it... especially cartoons. And I don't know whether it will harm him. I do read somewhere that early exposure to tv to much is not good to little ones. But I really don't think an hour or two in a day will make any harm to my love ones. Is it true?

Baby Adam masih belum boleh meniarap lagi.... but he has a new skill already, which is tergolek - golek. For now baru 90 degree... so now, we decided to put him in his baby court. The reason? Mama malas nk kemas tilam... hehehe...

EBM journal

My milk production dah berkurangan. It's getting less less and less everyday. Seems like I have to do something. Kesian baby. Ini padahnya when u dah mixed with formula.... dah malas nak pam. Ini azam baru...... I'll start to pump again ... and make a journal about the EBM. Kalau tak buat, rasanya tak jadi. Tunggu Adam, we'll start it all over again.... Wanna be a good mama ....

I started using formula since Adam was 2 months although I don't have milk supply problem that time. The production was good, but due to my health problem that time, I was like give up a bit. X larat.

Since my health are getting better now, so, it's time to breastfeed again. Mama try Adam, to satisfy ur need, Insya Allah.

New skill

I keep an eye everyday to see whether my boy has develop any new skill. Hari - hari mama observe. Hehe. And yes, dah boleh gelak2 kuat2. At first I was like a little shock, ingatkan dia x sengaja ter'giggling', so I've to keep on waiting bila the new skill will be develop. I just geletek Adam, and yes!!! Memang dia dah boleh giggle. Phewww... Syok rasa.

Nursery

Adam going to the nursery, starting yesterday. I drop by during lunch hour to feed him. Kesian la jugak. Main time !!!! Other babies sibuk holding rattle, bears etc tapi Adam terlentang atas tilam, all by himself. Nasib la sayang, being the youngest yang belum boleh merangkak.... nak grap benda pun still tidak boleh lagi.

Tapi, apa pun, mama memang satisfied dengan nursery tu ( ala... baru 1st day ). Anyway, if there are other nursery yang bagus-bagus out there ( syarat : dekat, x stuck dgn traffic jam and of course within our budget ), boleh la try apply ... :)

Start keje

Start keje last Monday ... hehehe ... mama dah kurus. Yeah... dah kurus, but still ada kesan2 bersalin. Sejuk, terus demam ... so, Tuesday tu, mama stayed at home with Adam. MC lor... demam.

40 days

Weighted only 2.98 kg at birth, everyone seem to be amused to see him so bulat at his 40 days. Terperanjat sangat! Ye la, lahir kecik je. Gain almost 1.5 kg ( it's 4.5 kg now ), he seems more like a baby and much less a newborn. The little boy has loosing his bujur sireh face to a round and round and round face... hehehe. Sorry papa, but I kinda like to see my boy being montel and sihat. Comel!!!

Adam lebih responsive then before and is very active. U'll find him actually talk to U, with the baby's sound, of course, dengan peramahnya. Sangat peramah indeed. His reaction to sound pun very good. Adam will follow u'r voice tone, if it is loud, the response will be loud. If U speak with a slow romantic tone, the response will be a slow and romantic tone too... sometimes it's too slow, so U've to open u'r ears wide to hear it. Sorry Adam, mama x dapat dengar la ... As Adam seems love to listen to mama's ( very nice ) voice singing to him ( perasan ??? ), I bought a Barney's vcd for him. Boleh dia belajar sekali kan. Surprisingly, dengan cartoon characters pun dia borak! Hahaha .... baby ...

At the age of 2 months old, Adam loves to play with his baby gym. Both kaki n tangan will start kicking the hanging colourfull toys. His eyes will concentrate on the toys while kicking it. Even if we play with our hands, we can see his eyes keep following our hand movement. Seronok!!!! Sampai ada masa, juling2 mata dia ikut tangan mama gerak laju2. Cute sangggggat!

Majlis Bercukur Bayi

Majlis started in the afternoon August 23, 2008. Adam was busy sleeping and he can hardly open his eyes! Anak mama tidur gaya bebas! Masa ni, babies ( maklum la.... ada sepasang baby ) will be feed to taste a little of air zam zam and buah kurma. Being forced to open his mouth also failed. Hehe....

Here are some of anak papa's pictures. Hm.... that shirt his wearing doesn't fit anymore..... one thing I can tell, although muka dia duplicate muka papa, those big eyes are mine .... hehehe

Nice picture eh? The fact is, Hasya is crying while Adam is laughing out loud. But it turn out to be a happy picture's :)

My sweetheart

This is Adam @5 days old, holding mama's hand and also Kak Ina's ( Kak Ina, Mas and Yana datang rumah sampai sesat - sesat... huhu, thanx guys, really appreciate it ). 

Having a small baby makes me feel exhausted, but still a happy mama... It's hard to get sleep at night neither during the day... I'm adjusting my self to Adam's schedule. ( have to la kan kan kan ? )... Sleep at nearly 1 a.m every morning, then it's likely that I have to wake up at 2.30 a.m until 4 a.m to breastfeed Adam. I can only get a sound sleep between 7 to 8.30 a.m every morning. 

Luckily my hubby is a good hubby & maybe will become a good father too ( hehe, dapat credit nih! ). He's the one helping me to change Adam's diapers every night..... hehehe... thanks abang!

The process ...

I got conceived in Oct 2007 and Adam was born 9 months later in July 2008. The birth was uncomplicated. I felt really awkward at 3 am ( Sunday, 13th July ). There were some blood drop down while I was in the washroom. I didn't go to sleep as the blood continued to drop down until morning. I started to feel the contraction become quicker and harder each time ... sakit sangat-sangat. It's about time ... Seramnya ....

My hubby, sister & I went to the hospital at 9 a.m. Being warded for a night, I went into labour at 9 a.m in the next day. My mom keeps calling, " Dah bersalin ke ? ". Adam was born at 11.15 a.m via caesarean section.

I was injected with a pain killer just before they knew that they need to do an emergency section on me. Being half-buis, in the operation theater, I can see and feel the two specialist are digging into my stomach. Nampak gunting and such .... bersih memula, but then berdarah. The pain can't be explained here... I was given a small amount of gas to make me sleepy. I miss the part where Adam was taken out from my womb also when the doc cut the cord. Ruginya .... huhuhuhu .... I miss the best part!

All I knew was, I ask the mid wife whether it's a boy or a girl.... I can see the bird and the face before fall asleep again.

When I woke up, I was shaking for several hours... as the operation theater was very cold. Is it because of the aircond or its normal to new mama like me? A very old pakcik was in the bed next to me, n he keeps saying " Sakit misi, sakit misi ". Hm ... kesian jugak.

Syukur Alhamdullillah. Mama n baby both selamat. Syukur juga apabila mengetahui baby itu sihat dan cukup sifat. Alhamdulillah....

Introducing Adam

Weight 2.98 kg with a height of 50 cm, lahirlah Adam. Being  a mother for the first time memang seronok. Perasaan bercampur baur..... happy, bangga, letih, semua ada. My days and nights have turn up side down. Adam can hardly sleep at night. Part ni, sangat sangat sangat meletihkan.....
